Everything we do at St. Aidan's flows from who we believe Jesus is, and what he's done.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, truly God and truly human. He didn't just show us what God is like — he is God, come to live among us.
Jesus lived a sinless life, teaching with authority about God's kingdom and calling people to love God and love one another. His life is the model we try to follow.
We believe Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin, offering forgiveness and reconciliation with God to all who turn to him.
Three days after his death, Jesus rose bodily from the grave, defeating death and proving he is who he claimed to be. This is the foundation of our hope.
We believe Jesus ascended to heaven and will one day return to bring justice, healing, and the fullness of God's kingdom to the world.
We believe Jesus is alive now, and can be known personally through faith, prayer, and the life of the church. Following him isn't just belief — it's relationship.
